Studded Floral Matte Mani;

hey :)

studs + floral + glitter + matte = awesome ... wouldn't you say? :D

The red is OPI's Bullish on OPI, the glitter is Studio M's Gold Glitter (such a clever name), the black is Rimmel's Black Satin, and it was all topped off with 2 coats of NYC's Matte Me Crazy matte top coat. The studs are 4mm from Born Pretty Store.

This is it for now, hope you have a great weekend :)

Have a good one!,

Floral Ruffian Mani;

hey :)

I did this mani about ... a month and a half ago; wheph, I'm so behind on posting :P

This mani did not turn out like how I wanted it to ... I was kind of disappointed. I forget what colors I used for the floral, it's been too long. (That sentence sounds like what I said in this post the other day, hahaha)

Hope your week starts out well.

Have a good one!,

Plate Inspired Mani;

hi :D

I did this mani a little over a month ago; it was inspired by a plate (image on the left) that I saw at Target. I didn't exactly like this mani ... it didn't turn out how I wanted it to ... but I didn't hate it either :P

I forget what colors I used for the flower .. but the base color is 2 coats of Orly's Pure Porcelain.

I guess this is it for now; hope your week has been going well :)

Have a good one!,

Shimmer Polish Swatches;

hi :D

Here are the rest of the swatches of the beautiful polishes that were sent to me from Cindy over at Shimmer Polish. Just a forewarning, please excuse the horrible and inconsistent lighting in the photos. Also, I personally like to wear glitter polishes by itself -- I don't usually wear them over a base color, so all but one swatch is the glitter polish by itself.

2 coats of Elsa - with flash. Elsa is mainly red, gold, and turquoise glitters in a clear base with tiny gold glitters.

2 coats of Elsa - without flash.

2 coats of Brooklyn - with flash. OHMYGOSH. BEAUTIFUL! Aqua blue, gold, and lavender glitters!!

2 coats of Brooklyn - without flash. Do you see those lavender glitters? You can really see it in the bottle; omg, this is such a beautiful mix.

2 coats of Alessandra - with flash. Red glitter mix with dominant (looks like) burnt orange and turquoise smaller glitters.

2 coats of Alessandra - without flash.

2 coats of Kelly - with flash. Beautiful mix of green and gold glitters.

2 coats of Kelly - without flash. Oooh, I just love how it looks in darker lighting too.

2 coats of Eva - with flash. A deep red based polish with burgundy and a tiny bit of silver glitter.

2 coats of Eva - without flash.

2 coats of Eva - without flash in REALLY bad lighting. … but look at how beautifully the glitter sparkles!! 8)

Last but not least, my most favorite of the bunch, 2 coats of Sarah over Cacee BFE's Willow - with flash. A mix of green, turquoise, gold, and purple glitters - it seriously reminds me of a peacock. It's absolutely stunning!

2 coats of Sarah - without flash. DO YOU SEE THE DEPTHS OF THIS POLISH!? ... absolutely beautiful. The purple and gold glitters are more visible irl. Pictures do absolutely no justice to Sarah.

And this is 2 coats of Cacee BFE - Willow before I applied Sarah over it. It's the perfect base for Sarah.

Oh gosh! I absolutely LOVE each & every Shimmer Polish that I received! :D I just want to give a big thanks to Cindy of Shimmer Polish for sending over the polishes. Be sure to check out her polishes; she also makes customized polishes -- which I will share mine on another day :)

have a good one!,

AJ Rafael - Beautiful Escape Inspired Galaxy Mani;

hi :D

I'm so behind on posting manis -- it's pretty ridiculous! o__O

Here is my mani that I did that was inspired by AJ Rafael's song, Beautiful Escape. Well, it was really inspired by the icon of the song on itunes :P The ring finger is supposed to be lightening bolts .. apparently I need to spend more time on painting lightening bolts. OTL

There's somewhat of a resemblance ... right ? hahaha Sadly, not really :( I made my blues too bright -- I'm still horrible at galaxy nails T__T

Yea, it turned out pretty bad :( Anyway, AJ has been one of my most favorite youtube musicians .. and I love his music ... and I love this song .. and I want to share the beautiful song with you~

Have a good one!;
