Shimmer Polish Fanny & Cacee BFE Mulberry Mauve swatches;

Tonight, I just wanted to share a few swatches. As previously mentioned, Tony over from Cacee as well as Cindy over at Shimmer Polish kindly sent me some polishes to review.


1 coat of Cacee BFE's Mulberry Mauve -- seriously, these polishes have great formulas! one coat! :D


This is 2 coats of Shimmer Polish's Fanny over Mulberry Mauve. I feel like they're the perfect pair! :) There are some iridescent glitters in Fanny that my camera didn't pick up; absolutely beautiful, nonetheless :)

Cacee BFE Scarlet + Sunrise Splash Swatches;

hey :)

I have two polishes that I received from Tony of Cacee to share today~


One coat of Scarlet. Great formula! There is a gold shimmer in Scarlet that I couldn't pick up .. :( Scarlet is also less red and a bit more of a brick-color irl.


One coat of Sunrise Splash. The gold is a little bit more vibrant irl.




I ended up combining the two colors for a mani and free-handed the the design with acrylic paint ... :)

Born Pretty Store White Matte Polish Review + Phone Cover Inspired Mani;

Wow, that was a long title. haha hi :)

I was recently sent a bottle of White Matte Polish from Born Pretty Store.

I've always thought that white matte nails look so sophisticated and it's so easy to accomplish yet I didn't own a white matte polish ... until now .. :)


Here is 1 coat of Born Pretty Store's BK White Matte Polish (#16). Yes, one coat ... so awesome~ :D

I ended up doing some nail art ...

I based this design off of the phone case that I just ordered. I'm still (im)patiently waiting for the phonecase to come in. haha






The burnt gold is Zoya's Richelle and then I just used my paint brush for the design.

Shimmer Polish Carol & Cacee BFE Luna swatches;

helllllo~ :)

A while ago, Tony over from Cacee kindly sent me some polishes to review. I'm slowly getting through swatching but its so difficult. I've know I've said it before, but seriously, I feel like swatching is harder than free-handed nail art! hahaha. Anyway, the first swatch up for sharing is Luna.


One coat of Cacee BFE's Luna -- yes, one coat :D Darker gray with a silver shimmer; it's soooo pretty! The shimmer is more visible irl & the name fits the polish perfectly~ The polish, on the nail, does look a tiny bit darker than how it looks in the bottle but regardless, its a beautiful polish.

A few days ago, Cindy over at Shimmer Polish also kindly sent me some polishes to review. Here is a picture that I posted on instagram of the beauties that I received~ I still had Luna on so I figured that Carol would be a great glitter to layer over it.


This is one coat of Shimmer Polish's Carol over one coat of Cacee BFE's Luna. Carol is a beautiful clear based polish with very tiny gold glitters, bigger gold, copper, and royal blue glitters, and some holographic glitters. It is stunning. Seriously. Pictures do no justice.



I stared and stared at my nails ... and as cute as they were, I couldn't bare having a mani without nail art. So, I grabbed my paint brush and dabbed on a two random designs;


Yea, it's pretty sloppy work. I haven't done much nail art lately ... but I'm slowly working on that :P

Purple Floral Mani & BPS 2mm Silver Square Stud Review;

hi~

A few days ago, my cousin came into town ... so I did her nails. This is the only nail art that I've done in the past month & a half .. smh.



The gray as base is 2 coats of Essence's Romeo, the ivory / nude is 2 coats of Orly's Pure Porcelain, and the purple that I used for the florals is OPI's Funky Dunkey ... and then I swirled a bit of Pure Porcelain with Funky Dunkey.

To finish off the mani, I added a few 2 mm silver square studs to a few of the nails ... which, imo, made the mani much cuter! The square studs were sent to me from Nicole over at Born Pretty Store. The studs are flat back so they're very easy to use and the size of the studs were just the perfect size.

By the way, the mani was inspired by this mani.
