Nails Inc - Spring Summer 2013 Collection Swatches;

hi :D

When Victoria of ABPR sent me some polishes, she also sent me Nails Inc's new Spring Summer 2013 Collection. This set contains 6 mini, 0.13 oz bottles of polishes.

2 coats of Kensington Palace Gardens; a coral leaning salmon color.

3 coats of Hampton Courts Palace Gardens; kinda streaky but its evens out by the third coat. very vibrant & eye catching.

2 coats of Royal Botanical Gardens. This is not a color accurate photo -- I could not, for the life of me, get a color accurate photo T__T RBG is more of a mint with blue undertones .. kind of like China Glaze's For Audrey. RBG is not as turquoise and/or bright as pictured here.

2 coats of Primrose Gardens. I LOVE THIS POLISH!! :D At first, I thought it was just a typical raspberry polish -- I didn't think I'd really like it .. but once I applied it, its more of an almost neon, jelly-ish beauty! Love, love, love! It's my favorite of the set.

Here are two extra pictures to show how vibrant and BAM! this polish is :)

2 coats of Belgravia Gardens; it applied like a dream!

2 coats of Chelsea Physic Garden; a pastel, sky blue.

Nails Inc's Spring Summer 2013 Collection is available at Sephora. A big thanks to Victoria, who kindly sent me these beautiful polishes :)

Have a good one!,

Simple Polka Dot Mani;

hey :)

I hope you had a great weekend -- for those of you who had a 3 day weekend like I did, I hope it was fun & relaxing~

Here is a mani I did 3 weeks back.

2 coats of Sally Hansen's Butterscotch, 2 coats of China Glaze's Mimosa's Before Mani's, and 2 coats of Orly's Pure Porcelain. Just wanted to mention that MBM looks darker in this picture than it really does irl, not sure why ...

A simple yet sufficient mani :)

Have a good one!,

L'Oreal - Lacey Lilac + The Palace Life + Gradient Triangle Mani;

hey :)

When I received Royally Yours from Victoria of ABPR a while ago, I also received Lacey Lilac & The Palace Life - which are part of L'Oreal's Paris Versaillis Collection.

2 coats of Lacey Lilac. Very pretty lilac with pink undertones.

3 coats of The Palace Life. This one is a beautiful pastel, baby pink -- kind of streaky but it covers well by the third coat.

I used TPL as the base of this mani. I'm not sure why TPL looks a bit darker in this photo compared to the other swatch photo .. hmm.

L'Oreal's Paris Versaillis Collection are at drugstores for purchase.

Have a good one!,

L'Oreal - Royally Yours Review + Leopard Mani;

hi :)

When Victoria, of ABPR, sent me FLOWER Nail Lacquers, she also sent me a few of L'Oreal's new Paris Versaillis Collection. The Paris Versaillis Collection are at drugstores for purchase. For today, I'll be sharing L'Oreal's Royally Yours.

3 coats of Royally Yours; it applied beautifully and it wasn't streaky.

I had a great idea in my head to do a gradient & leopard mani ... it didn't translate too well on the nails. Ehh ... it's ok.

Have a good one!,

Abstract Aztec Inspired Mani;

hi :)

According to instagram, I did this mani 12 weeks ago ... dang! I'm so behind!

This mani was inspired by Chelsea King's Abstract Aztec mani (LOOOOVE HER BLOG & NAILS!). I decided to switch it up and use colors different from what she used ... which I regret >__< I remember being kinda disappointed with this mani .. now looking at these pictures ... I understand why I was disappointed =X
The base color is Essie's Topless & Barefoot, the blue is Orly's Frisky, I think the burgundy is China Glaze's VII, the raspberry pink & pastel pink .. I cannot remember what polishes I used.

Have a good one!,

Matte Leopard Print Mani;

hey :)

I've been sooooo busy trying to post reviews & swatches lately that I haven't had time to post much nail art ... /sad. Here is a mani that I did 9 weeks ago (according to instagram). Btw, you can tell it's an old mani because my nail shape is different. hahaha

I used two coats of Zoya's Jacqueline and 2 coats of Rimmel's Black Satin, free-handed the leopard prints, dabbed a bit of Studio M's Gold Glitter into the leopard prints, and topped the mani off with 2 coats of NYC's Matte Me Crazy.

Jacqueline applied like a dream! 8) It was perfect!

I also did a very similar mani for my friend, except we added gold tips. I love it! I think that the gold tips look really good with the mani~

Have a good one!,

Mont Bleu Items Review;

hey~

A few weeks back, I was contacted by Mont Bleu to review a few items; of course I couldn't resist - they have incredibly beautiful things! Here are the items that I received:

This is the 135mm/5.32in crystal nail file B-M1. It is beautiful!!! I specifically picked this one out because I looove the color of the crystals. The nail file came in a cozy velvet pouch.

BEAUTIFUL! :D

This one is the mini nail file BC-S1 in bubbles color - pink. I am not too sure on the size/length of the mini file, but it's a very convenient size. It also came in a velvet pouch.

Here is a comparison of the regular size file and the mini file.

A close up of the crystals. I can't get over how beautiful they are! The files are also very comfortable to use. I've always preferred glass files over regular nail files and these are just perfect!

I also received a plastic pocket mirror ACSP-01.1. Mont Bleu does sell metal mirrors as well. This one in particular came in a beautiful case, it's light, and one of the mirror is standard while the other one is magnifying. The case of the mirror itself is also reflective, that's why you can see the top of the case on the top of the mirror.

Lastly, I received a pair of tweezers CT-1.3 pink. The ends are slanted so they work well, the tweezers are very comfortable to use, and there are crystals on one side of it.

I love all the items that I received; they're all easy to use and the crystals are just beautiful! Be sure to check out Mont Bleu, they have many other beautiful items and they ship worldwide. A big thanks to Mont Bleu for the beautiful items.

Have a good one!,

SUPER BLACK Lacquers Drunk Dial + Whip Swatches;

hey :)

A few weeks back, Natalie Dee of SUPER BLACK Lacquers sent me two polishes to review, here are the pretties that I received --

Drunk Dial and Whip. Aren't they beautiful!? 8D I absolutely LOVE the bottles! The font, the design, the brush -- everything, it's almost perfect. I just wished the bottles had the polish names on it. Aside from that one, teeeeeny weeeeeny thing, I looooove them! :D

2 coats of Drunk Dial. It builds up so well; a purple-based magenta with red, orange, and yellow glitters. It's so fun and pretty!

2 coats of Whip. OHMAHGAH!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!! :D Pictures do not do justice for the amazing holo-ness !

I did a comparison of Whip & Color Club's Revvvolution (which I took swatches of it here three years ago!). Whip is a linear holo and it has a stronger holo finish whereas Revvvolution is a scattered holo.

Aren't those lovely!? :) Be sure to check out SUPER BLACK Lacquers for other beautiful polishes. And a big thanks to Natalie Dee for the polishes~

Have a good one!,
