Born Pretty Store 3D Acrylic Rose Mold;

hi; wow, 3 posts in one week? yup, im just as surprised :P

a while ago, Nicole over at Born Pretty Store sent me a package that included a 3D Acrylic Rose Mold.

here's a picture of the mold in the package [on the left] and the mold out of the package [on the right].

here is the mani i did: the pink is 3 coats of Etude House's PK010 Pinkade; the silver gradient was done with Studio M's Sex Symbol; i added some rhinestones and pearls; i used white acrylic powder [which didnt really turn out white, but its ok] and the rose mold; then i accented the tips of the rose with white acrylic paint; and topped the mani off with a coat of clear gel polish.

here is another angle of the mani; its not color accurate, but ughh! i just looooved this mani ! :D it was super sparkly irl; the pictures dont do any justice! i think i'll probably do another mani like this soon :)

a big thanks to Nicole over at Born Pretty Store for the items. don't forget, if you want to order anything from BPS, you are always more than welcomed to use my coupon code~ save 10% off your order! feel free to take advantage of it! :D the code is 'KL5X31' :)

have a great one!,

Love-Hate Mani

hiiii-yeom~

^^ thats something that my favorite, cute Korean boy always says. along with "bye-yeom~" i think im gunna start using those two more often now :)

here is a mani that i had on in the beginning of the week;

3 coats of Maybelline's Pink Sombrero. the polish is slighty squishy & jelly like, but its super cute!

on my ring finger, i used a 3d acrylic bow that i received from Born Pretty Store to review. might i add again, I LOVE THE 3D ACRYLIC MOLDS!!!! :)

this mani, i had a love-hate relationship with. at some times when i looked at my nails, i liked them. and then at other times, i just really hated them! i dont know why :P

oh, by the way... guess who has two thumbs and got her first Helmer today? MEEEEE :) guess i'll be rearranging my polishes tomorrow :)

enjoy the rest of your weekend!
bye-yeom!~

Glitter Gradient

whoa! is this two posts in one day? -yes. it is. =) oh, and check out my post from earlier: here, if you missed it.

i finally did my nails today...so... =)

i used Essie's Chinchilly for the tips & base of my ring finger. then i used Massini's Sex Symbol silver glitter, Cover Girl's Disco Dazzle, and topped it off with China Glaze's Fairy Dust & topcoat. since my first attempt at 3d acrylic nail art, i havent touched my stuff; so i decided to try to make a flower on my ring finger. - - - fail. its all off-centered -__-

here's my nails before i attempted the flower;

this picture was taken earlier this afternoon so the lighting is different from the other picture.. =P and my nails look awkwardly short here...

like the blog title says...this is supposed to be a glitter gradient. im not good at doing gradients...so i dont know if i would consider this a gradient fail or not. what would you consider it? overall, i actually kinda like this mani.. =)

enjoy your day!,

3D Acrylic Nail Art Attempt

i've always wanted to try 3d acrylic nail art but i've never bought a kit cause i was a bit nervous about trying it out. but after reading Asami's 3d acrylic nail art tutorial on Tuesday, i really wanted to try it... so that night, i went out and bought a kit. then today, i finally got to attempt 3d acrylic nail art! woo!

this is my first time trying, so please be nice =)
here's how it went:

*group shot =)
the polishes i used were on each nail were: L.A. Colors Bright Pink + Orly's Cotton Candy; Orly's Pixy Stix; & Orly's Lollipop.

my 3d bow. i made the bow before adding the pink dots..so the bow looks super small in comparison to the dots. then i added a rhinestone to pretty it up. [also, the light from the sun, in this picture, left a blob on the nail. see how one side is pink & one side is kinda orange-y? yea, thats the sun.]

[ew. blurry picture. too lazy to retake another one.] 3d heart! i made a decent heart at first & then tried to fix it..and it kept getting bigger/thicker...so i stopped. then i added little pearls to it wasnt so plain... and while it was drying, one of the pearls [at the bottom of the nail] slid down & joined the other pearl. haha.

my flower. turned out...ok? not much to say about this one. haha oh, besides for the sun making the left half of the nail look white.

i spent almost an hour doing those three in my backyard...and i was going to do more but then our backyard neighbors came outside & started arguing. i felt awkward so i stopped & went inside.

thats all i have for today; have a good one!
