thanks so much Reb :) yea, my nails are real. they're not too healthy .. but they're good. haha nail strengthening base coats really differ from person to person, so its like a trial and error type deal. if you havent tried essie's grow stronger, i would recommend it -- same with poshe's nail strengthening treatment basecoat.

ReplyDeleteWhat clear top coat do you always use? And do you have tips on how to keep nail polish nice for a long time? It gets clumpy so fast it seems like!
ReplyDeletei use poshe's super fast drying top coat, works wonderfully :) my polish lasts me for a week+ .. but the duration of a mani really depends on what you do on a daily basis.

Deleteooh .. hahaha my bad :P uhmm, i've heard about the whole keeping polishes in the fridge thing ... i havent tried it but im sure it works, not sure how much of a difference it makes on the polish though. polishes should be stored in a cooler room temperature place. all of my polishes are in my helmer in the basement -- its nice & cooler down there so my polishes are all good. the warmth / heat makes polishes goopy and thick so avoid hot places. if all else fails, apply nail polish thinner... not too much .. but you know, a good amount :P
