Gradient Concert Mani;

hey :)

Back in July, I went to two concerts back-to-back, a One Direction and a Jonas Brothers concert. I was a bit unsure of what mani to wear since I didn't have time to do a 1D mani and a JB mani (since the concerts were back-to-back). So, I pulled out the customized polish that I ordered from Shimmer Polish. Cindy helped create a beautiful peach, gold, and black polish that I customized for my friend Anouk. Ironically, Anouk and I met through Jonas Brothers and she actually introduced me to One Direction .. so what better polish to use, right? :D

I forget what polish I used as base, but here is my glitter gradient with my customized Shimmer Polish nail polish, Anouk. I LOVE IT! I was a bit reluctant on the colors at first, but Cindy did a beautiful job creating this polish.

Oh, speaking of my friend Anouk, she just recently created a beauty blog, Beauty and Rambles. Please be sure to check out her blog.

Be sure to check out Shimmer Polish for more beautiful polishes. If you want to customize your own polishes, you can check out this Contact/Purchase page.

Have a good day!,

Shimmer Polish Swatches;

hi :D

Here are the rest of the swatches of the beautiful polishes that were sent to me from Cindy over at Shimmer Polish. Just a forewarning, please excuse the horrible and inconsistent lighting in the photos. Also, I personally like to wear glitter polishes by itself -- I don't usually wear them over a base color, so all but one swatch is the glitter polish by itself.

2 coats of Elsa - with flash. Elsa is mainly red, gold, and turquoise glitters in a clear base with tiny gold glitters.

2 coats of Elsa - without flash.

2 coats of Brooklyn - with flash. OHMYGOSH. BEAUTIFUL! Aqua blue, gold, and lavender glitters!!

2 coats of Brooklyn - without flash. Do you see those lavender glitters? You can really see it in the bottle; omg, this is such a beautiful mix.

2 coats of Alessandra - with flash. Red glitter mix with dominant (looks like) burnt orange and turquoise smaller glitters.

2 coats of Alessandra - without flash.

2 coats of Kelly - with flash. Beautiful mix of green and gold glitters.

2 coats of Kelly - without flash. Oooh, I just love how it looks in darker lighting too.

2 coats of Eva - with flash. A deep red based polish with burgundy and a tiny bit of silver glitter.

2 coats of Eva - without flash.

2 coats of Eva - without flash in REALLY bad lighting. … but look at how beautifully the glitter sparkles!! 8)

Last but not least, my most favorite of the bunch, 2 coats of Sarah over Cacee BFE's Willow - with flash. A mix of green, turquoise, gold, and purple glitters - it seriously reminds me of a peacock. It's absolutely stunning!

2 coats of Sarah - without flash. DO YOU SEE THE DEPTHS OF THIS POLISH!? ... absolutely beautiful. The purple and gold glitters are more visible irl. Pictures do absolutely no justice to Sarah.

And this is 2 coats of Cacee BFE - Willow before I applied Sarah over it. It's the perfect base for Sarah.

Oh gosh! I absolutely LOVE each & every Shimmer Polish that I received! :D I just want to give a big thanks to Cindy of Shimmer Polish for sending over the polishes. Be sure to check out her polishes; she also makes customized polishes -- which I will share mine on another day :)

have a good one!,

Shimmer Polish Julia & Cacee BFE Daydream Aura swatches;

hey :D

Just wanted to share a few swatches of some polishes that I've been behind on swatching & posting -- forgive me! :( These were sent over to me by Tony over from Cacee and Cindy over at Shimmer Polish.

2 coats of Daydream Aura -- it's a little less sky blue irl, but it's shimmery prettiness.

2 coats of Julia over DA. This combo reminded me of ... an icy / snowy winter. idk - that sounds weird but it just gave off such a beautiful winter feel :D I'm in Michigan and our winter is still dragging & i don't exactly like winter .. but for the few days that I wore this mani, I really enjoyed the winter feel. hahaha

A blurry shot of glittery goodness.

... :D isnt' it just so pretty? These two polishes were like ... a match made in heaven. hahaha

I just want to give a big thanks to Tony over from Cacee & Cindy of Shimmer Polish for sending over the polishes. Be sure to check out their sites~

Have a great day!,

Shimmer Polish Fanny & Cacee BFE Mulberry Mauve swatches;

hi~

Tonight, I just wanted to share a few swatches. As previously mentioned, Tony over from Cacee as well as Cindy over at Shimmer Polish kindly sent me some polishes to review.

1 coat of Cacee BFE's Mulberry Mauve -- seriously, these polishes have great formulas! one coat! :D

This is 2 coats of Shimmer Polish's Fanny over Mulberry Mauve. I feel like they're the perfect pair! :) There are some iridescent glitters in Fanny that my camera didn't pick up; absolutely beautiful, nonetheless :)

Anyway, I just want to give a big thanks to Tony over from Cacee & Cindy of Shimmer Polish for sending over the polishes. Be sure to check out their sites~

Have a great day!,

Shimmer Polish Carol & Cacee BFE Luna swatches;

helllllo~ :)

A while ago, Tony over from Cacee kindly sent me some polishes to review. I'm slowly getting through swatching but its so difficult. I've know I've said it before, but seriously, I feel like swatching is harder than free-handed nail art! hahaha. Anyway, the first swatch up for sharing is Luna.

One coat of Cacee BFE's Luna -- yes, one coat :D Darker gray with a silver shimmer; it's soooo pretty! The shimmer is more visible irl & the name fits the polish perfectly~ The polish, on the nail, does look a tiny bit darker than how it looks in the bottle but regardless, its a beautiful polish.

A few days ago, Cindy over at Shimmer Polish also kindly sent me some polishes to review. Here is a picture that I posted on instagram of the beauties that I received~ I still had Luna on so I figured that Carol would be a great glitter to layer over it.

This is one coat of Shimmer Polish's Carol over one coat of Cacee BFE's Luna. Carol is a beautiful clear based polish with very tiny gold glitters, bigger gold, copper, and royal blue glitters, and some holographic glitters. It is stunning. Seriously. Pictures do no justice.

I stared and stared at my nails ... and as cute as they were, I couldn't bare having a mani without nail art. So, I grabbed my paint brush and dabbed on a two random designs;

Yea, it's pretty sloppy work. I haven't done much nail art lately ... but I'm slowly working on that :P

Anyway, I just want to give a big thanks to Tony over from Cacee & Cindy of Shimmer Polish for sending over the polishes. Be sure to check out their sites; ooh, and just a heads you, you'll be seeing more Cacee & Shimmer Polish swatches on my blog :)

Have a great day!,
