Urban Jungle, 2 coats.

Fierce, No Fear, 2 coats.

Serum No. 5 FW 13 Collection Swatches + Review;

hi~

It's been a while since my last post, hope all has been well~

A while ago, Victoria, of Serum No. 5, sent me over her new FW 13 collection so here are swatches to share :)

Best Witches, 3 coats. I love the glitter combo in this one. Gray based polish with yellow, blue, purple, white, & holo glitters.

Rise and Grind, 2 coats. So sparkly and the glitter combo (brown, copper, gold, and white) just compliments each other so well! .. those white glitters! 8) The second picture, the blurry one, is to show the tiny gold glitters in the base.

Samba-dy To Love, 2 coats. Can we just take a moment and enjoy the name of this polish? It's adorable!! Red, blue, orange, and purple glitter mixed in a clear base.

Acai of Relief, 3 coats. Blue / purple duochrome, I loved this one much more than I thought I would. In other lightings, it looks way more purple.

Second Spring, 2 coats. The cutest polish, ever! I love this one. Off-white base, gold shimmer, and multi-colored and sized glitters.

Jaded, 3 coats. Light green holo.

Mauvelous, 2 coats. Pink holo.

A Cup of Teal, 2 coats. Blue holo; I couldn't get a decent photo of the holo-ness :( .. but trust me, it's MUCH stronger irl.

For the holos, they were all easy to apply. My photos don't do justice on the amazing holo-ness of the polishes.

Atomic Peach, 4 thin coats. Beautiful shade of peach that glows yellow-green.

Pink Lantern, 2 coats. Pink that glows yellow-orange. Pink Lantern was released last year and Victoria brought it back for a limited time for the month of October only .. so be sure to pick it up before it's too late!~

A big thanks to Victoria for sending over the polishes. As always, be sure to check out Serum No. 5~

Have a good one!,

Iconic Luxury Nail Colour Swatches & Review;

hey~

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by April of Iconic Lifestyle, who just launched her new line of nail polishes, Iconic Luxury Nail Colour. She sent me three polishes from the Parisian Socialite collection to review.

First up is 2 coats of French Kiss. A muted lavender with silver shimmer. Unfortunately, these kind of colors give me slight lobster hands, but regardless, FK was very easy to apply and it looks beautiful.

2 coats of Merci Me; ooooh, I love this one! A dusty, muted seafoam with silver and (I think) pink & blue shimmer, but the silver is a lot more dominant. The pink shimmer was a bit more noticeable irl.

2 coats of I CAN CAN Shop. Bright raspberry pink with some coral undertones and pink shimmer; absolutely b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

All 3 polishes were easy to apply; Merci Me was a tad bit thicker than the other two but it's easy to work with. A big thanks to April for the polishes; be sure to check out the Iconic Lifestyle site to see the rest of the Iconic Luxury Nail Colours.

Have a good one!,

Precision Nail Lacquer - Oasis Collection Review + Swatches;

hey :)

For today, I want to share some swatches of Precision Nail Lacquer polishes, more specifically, polishes from their Oasis Collection.

3 coats of Sage. There is a silver shimmer that runs through the polish, you can kind of see the shimmer in my photos; Sage is actually a tiny bit darker irl.

3 coats of Sandstorm; squishy, jelly goodness :) Sandstorm leans a bit more 'camel' toned irl.

2 coats of Been There Dune That; it's a bit darker irl. BTDT builds up really easily and has taupe / mauve undertones.

3 coats of You’re in De-Nile River, is that not the cutest name or what? :) Brownish with mauve undertones.

2 coats of Sahara Deserted Me; loooove this one! A dusty rose-ish jelly; builds up really easily.

2 coats of Scorpion King. Charcoal base with silver and multi-colored shimmer.

A macro of the shimmery goodness~

The polishes are easy to work with and beautiful! Precision Nail Lacquer's run for $5.95 on the site, be sure to check them out :) A big thanks to Ernest for sending me the collection to review~

Have a good one!,

My First Deborah Lippmann Polish;

hi :)

Although it's nothing too special, I just wanted to share my first Deborah Lippmann polish, Let's Go Crazy.

This is 3 coats, photo taken with flash. Deep eggplant, jelly-ish base with multi-colored glitters.

Photo taken without flash which shows the colors of the glitters. Pretty :)

Have a good one!,

Cacee BFE Crimson Mist + Chloe and a Rose Mani;

hey :)

A while ago, Tony of Cacee sent me a package of beautiful polishes -- unfortunately, I was only able to swatch a few of those polishes (as seen here, here, here, here, and here). So today, I will be sharing two more Cacee BFE nail polishes.

2 coats of Crimson Mist. This is kind of an unusual polish yet it's so fascinating! Just look at that strong blue shimmer! The first coat was super thin but it evened out by the second coat.

1 coat of Chloe. It covers perfectly in one coat! :) Chloe is a dark, dark, dark gray with slightly blue undertones; in most lightings, it look black ... but it's definitely not black.

The floral in this mani was inspired by Chelsea King's Dr. Martens Floral Inspired mani. I can honestly say that I'm not sure what colors I used for the florals, I do know that I used Studio M's Gold Glitter for the tips :P

A big thanks to Tony from Cacee for the polishes. There are still a few more swatches I need to post, but I'll get to those soon. Be sure to check out the Cacee BFE polishes, there are many, many beautiful polishes to choose from!

Have a good one!,

Nails Inc - Spring Summer 2013 Collection Swatches;

hi :D

When Victoria of ABPR sent me some polishes, she also sent me Nails Inc's new Spring Summer 2013 Collection. This set contains 6 mini, 0.13 oz bottles of polishes.

2 coats of Kensington Palace Gardens; a coral leaning salmon color.

3 coats of Hampton Courts Palace Gardens; kinda streaky but its evens out by the third coat. very vibrant & eye catching.

2 coats of Royal Botanical Gardens. This is not a color accurate photo -- I could not, for the life of me, get a color accurate photo T__T RBG is more of a mint with blue undertones .. kind of like China Glaze's For Audrey. RBG is not as turquoise and/or bright as pictured here.

2 coats of Primrose Gardens. I LOVE THIS POLISH!! :D At first, I thought it was just a typical raspberry polish -- I didn't think I'd really like it .. but once I applied it, its more of an almost neon, jelly-ish beauty! Love, love, love! It's my favorite of the set.

Here are two extra pictures to show how vibrant and BAM! this polish is :)

2 coats of Belgravia Gardens; it applied like a dream!

2 coats of Chelsea Physic Garden; a pastel, sky blue.

Nails Inc's Spring Summer 2013 Collection is available at Sephora. A big thanks to Victoria, who kindly sent me these beautiful polishes :)

Have a good one!,

L'Oreal - Lacey Lilac + The Palace Life + Gradient Triangle Mani;

hey :)

When I received Royally Yours from Victoria of ABPR a while ago, I also received Lacey Lilac & The Palace Life - which are part of L'Oreal's Paris Versaillis Collection.

2 coats of Lacey Lilac. Very pretty lilac with pink undertones.

3 coats of The Palace Life. This one is a beautiful pastel, baby pink -- kind of streaky but it covers well by the third coat.

I used TPL as the base of this mani. I'm not sure why TPL looks a bit darker in this photo compared to the other swatch photo .. hmm.

L'Oreal's Paris Versaillis Collection are at drugstores for purchase.

Have a good one!,

SUPER BLACK Lacquers Drunk Dial + Whip Swatches;

hey :)

A few weeks back, Natalie Dee of SUPER BLACK Lacquers sent me two polishes to review, here are the pretties that I received --

Drunk Dial and Whip. Aren't they beautiful!? 8D I absolutely LOVE the bottles! The font, the design, the brush -- everything, it's almost perfect. I just wished the bottles had the polish names on it. Aside from that one, teeeeeny weeeeeny thing, I looooove them! :D

2 coats of Drunk Dial. It builds up so well; a purple-based magenta with red, orange, and yellow glitters. It's so fun and pretty!

2 coats of Whip. OHMAHGAH!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!! :D Pictures do not do justice for the amazing holo-ness !

I did a comparison of Whip & Color Club's Revvvolution (which I took swatches of it here three years ago!). Whip is a linear holo and it has a stronger holo finish whereas Revvvolution is a scattered holo.

Aren't those lovely!? :) Be sure to check out SUPER BLACK Lacquers for other beautiful polishes. And a big thanks to Natalie Dee for the polishes~

Have a good one!,
